About the Parker R42TC Hydraulic Hose
The Parker R42TC is a super high-pressure hose designed to meet SAE 100R15 standards. It features a reinforcement layer of either 4 or 6 spiral-wound steel wires and a superior abrasion-resistant outer cover. This product is ideal for heavy-duty applications in demanding environments such as mining, construction, and other outdoor equipment, with a maximum working pressure of 42 MPa (6000 psi / 420 bar).
Key Features of the Parker R42TC Hose
- Construction:
+ Inner Tube: Synthetic rubber.
+ Reinforcement: 4 or 6 layers of high-tensile spiral-wound steel wire.
+ Outer Cover (Tough Cover - TC): A synthetic rubber cover engineered for excellent resistance to abrasion, ozone, and weather. It is MSHA certified.
- Standards: Meets or exceeds SAE J517 R15 and ISO 3862 standards.
- Applications: Suitable for ultra-high-pressure hydraulic systems and heavy machinery in harsh outdoor environments, including mining, heavy industry, and construction.
- Working Pressure: Maximum working pressure of up to 42 MPa (6000 psi / 420 bar).
- Abrasion Resistance: The Tough Cover (TC) offers many times the abrasion resistance of standard hoses.
